I love food markets!!! So many options, so little time.
Smorgasburg every Saturday at Williamsburg
This is every. single. Saturday all summer long (April to November) where the famous food vendors gather. Ramen burger. Donuts. Ice-cream. It is amazing! On a sunny day, this is the view.
I visited in the morning when they opened at 11am. The sun is up, morning air, some vendors still setting up, and less crowd. About 5 minutes wait maximum at the busiest vendor.
The best part: spacious area for eating!
I couldn’t resist a donut for breakfast.
Madison Square Eats
not sure if this is September only? but hope you catch it!
Roberta’s (amazing pizza) is here! As well as beers and crammed tables. I took my food to the park and ate there.
Lobster rolls for $17!!! Argh! But SO DELICIOUS.
Note!!!! Although the market itself is opened at 7am, many of the food vendors are not. They open around 10am and after. It’s better for a late breakfast or a lunch. I ended up eating at Cookshop.
There is WiFi at Chelsea Market!
it’s a busy grocery store with restaurant area
Pizzas, wine, ham, cheese. It’s like a Spanish tapas market! There are tall tables for standing if you want to grab-eat-then-go. There are also two seating areas with waiter service. We sat down for a pizza.
The High Line
There is indeed a little food area with street food vendors. Seriously.
But I visited in the morning and no vendors were set up :(
